Quick Start
You wonder yourself into a new unknowned land. A
bit of a corage makes you go forth and find that you must work hard
and fight harder to live in such a dangerous land. The resorces are
many ... but can you crop them?
* Be carefull when choosing your stats/skills on the main character
creation. This will be the stats/skills you will start with!!
* This also is a 100% roleplaying shard so be attentive when making
your character and playing it
Choose your class and your homecity. After some steps in the new
world you find that many things are diferent ...
Where
is the banker ???
There
is none! You have a bank in each city, and inside that bank you have
metal chests. Click once on them and you will see who it belongs to.
If it is unclaimed (metal bank box), double click on it to claim it
for your own. You can only have one bankbox.
There are no NPC's in the houses!!!
Correct.
The incity houses are only available to sell to players. All vendors
have been moved to the suburbs of the city into the market. They are
all gathered together, in several tents, for your convenience.
I died and appeared back in town
in a hospital. What do I do?
That's the way it is supposed to be, there are no ghost forms. When
you "die" you are carried away to the hospital. Hurry back to your body
and retrieve your things.
I
shouted "Help, guards im being mugged!" and nothing happend !!!
There are no guarded areas like most of Ultima Online.
Here, the guards are players that form the Militia, and you can only
be "almost safe" inside your own city walls.
Militia?! What is that?
The Militia
is the Law Enforcement unit of your city (race). Almost everyone can
join it, just talk to the officers of the Militia. For more information
read the document about the Militia in the Library section!
I left this on the floor
and it vanished!
Abandoned items decay naturally, in roughly half an hour (though there
are variations). Take care with what you drop.
Ok! Now i bought a weapon.
What do i do?
Our sugestion is that you train before you go adventure on the world.
Some parts of it are very dangerous! Try not to attack at once what
seems bigger or stronger than you, or you may find yourself in the hospital
very often. Don't forget to always loot what you kill, whatever it is
can give you money by selling it in market or by selling it to other
players.
"I can't use this weapon/armour!"
There
are four possible reasons:
- you are not the right class
- you are not strong enough
- your skill in tactics is too low
- your weapon skill is too low
Any of these will stop you from using it. Check your class attributes
in the class area to know your class restrictions.
Im
tired of trying to kill stuff that brings me none or few money!
Join the
militia, try asking players for a job, some may need your assistance
for something.
Search for an older player to accept you as his squire: many experienced
players don't mind having squires, and you will find one easily. But
remember, being a squire requires dedication and obedience to you master.
It has great advantages, though, and you will quickly learn the shard
mechanics.
The city pays you if you rid the many dangers that surround it. Help
the city!
How can i be payed by the city?
Firstly, try to kill some stronger foes and remove from their dead bodies
tokens called insignias. (Note that not everything has insignias, only
those that the town wishes to pay to get rid of). Go to the Militia
Headquarters in your city and find a table with at least 4 books, click
once on each of them to see what they are! Second double-click one the
exact one to get your bounty (there is no problem if you double-click
on the wrong books).
Now
that im rich i want to buy a house. How can i do that?
You can get a house by buying an appropriate deed from the loca mage
shop. Different deeds are available at different prices for the different-sized
houses. Buy a deed, and use it on the house's door of your choice. Naturally,
this only works for unoccupied houses.
If you wish to place locked items inside the houses you must first ask
a Game Master for assistance with previous made plans for the house.
